Heartgard Chewables Plus Green is a 12 pack of tasty chewables created to deworm your mid-sized hound. Any dog between is an eligible candidate for this combination de-wormer. Feed your average sized dog Heartgard Plus to prevent parasites such as:

Hookworm
Roundworm
And the deadly Heartworm

Heartgard Chewables Plus is to be administered once a month to keep your standard sized dog from suffering the terrible effects of an unwanted parasitic invasion. So simultaneously keep your middling mutt happy and well fed with Heartgard Chewables Plus Blue. Does not prevent Tapeworms or whipworms.

Heartgard Plus may cause sensitivities in certain dogs of the herding breeds. Since Shetland is a sheepdog, please consult your veterinarian first.

Good morning. I saw it ok to give the heart worm medicine for small dogs to a 12 week old puppy?

You can use this product for dogs 6 weeks of age and older. However we strongly recommend to get advise from your vet before administrating any treatment.

In the description it say this will deworm your dog. In an answer you say it will not get rid of heartworms. which is correct

Answer:

Heartgard prevents Heartworm, Hookworm, and Roundworm. However, if your dog is already infested with Heartworms, this product can't kill them. Should that happens, it's best that you seek advice from your vet.

I can't believe it!

For more than five years, I have continuously purchased this product from the animal hospital. To be honest with you, it's been a financial burden for me to pay two dogs every month for over five years. By the way, I happened to know this web site and I wasn't confident about buying it overseas. Finally, I tried the first purchase without being sure whether it was delivered properly, whether the product was genuine, and how long it was valid. The product arrived at home yesterday and I just opened the package. Surprisingly, I was able to solve everything I was worried about. I can't believe it! The best news for me among them is the price of this product. Because it’s about half the price that I have bought at the animal hospital so far, so it is discounted price.
